Manuel Aguilar (Art History, Cal State Los Angeles)

Jim Burns (Art History, CalPoly Pomona)

Lee Hanson (Education, San Jose State University)
Dr. Hanson has conrtributed Hanson: Mask Images.

Allan Kohl(AICT, Art Images for College Teaching)
Dr. Kohl has conrtributed thousands of images from his AICT database including Kohl: Ancient Images, Kohl: Medieval Images, Kohl: Early Modern Images, and Kohl: Modern Images.

Mark Levy (Art History, Cal State East Bay)
Dr. Levy was one of the first CSU faculty members to contribute images to the IMAGE Project. His beautiful images from India, Japan, Tibet, Burma, Vietnam and Indonesia (over 300 of them) provide a solid corpus for the study of art works from these areas. See Levy: Asian Art.

Don Nelson (Biology, Cal State Long Beach)
Dr. Nelson, who is now deceased, was the major contributor to one of the first CSU on-line projects, a Biology Database. We are pleased to honor his contribution and to present his work on the WorldImage database: Biology: Photographs; Biology: Movies

Cynthia Rostankowski (Humanities, San Jose State University)
Dr. Rostankowski has contributed Rostankowski: Classical Images.

Oliver Seely (Chemistry, Cal State Dominguez Hills)
Dr. Seely's interests in photography, the environment and the history of technology led him to design a sabbatical project in which he learned to digitize and catalogue over 400 educational images he and his family had taken and contribute them to the IMAGE project. Jan Thompson (Art History, San Jose State University)
Dr. Thompson's has contributed images a wide range of images from Finland, Mt. Rushmore, and Christo's Central Park Gates. See Thompson: Art Historical Images.

Sabbatical Leaves: We want to encourage faculty members to share the results of their sabbaticals that involve images with their colleagues and with students throughout the world. See Dr. Seely's sabbatical report at Sabbatical Leave Final Report. The IMAGE staff will be glad to work with you regarding appropriate formats for images and cataloging.
