Tips on Searching the Databases:
Use Quick Search to find any word in the title, century, medium, or artist name. You can also quickly locate a record if you know the accession number. Simply type in the words or the accession number and click 'go'.
HINTS FOR VIEWING SEARCH RESULTS: Up to 20 thumbnails will be shown on the first page. Make note of number of results as shown in upper right hand corner. You can move to the next screen by selecting Next, or see the full list of images by holding down the Menu Bar in the center and scrolling down. View images as Thumbnails, a Text List, Image and Label or as a Description. Description will give you more information and a larger image. Click on the image for an even larger view.
HINTS ON DOWNLOADING: Create a folder on your desktop and download images by dragging them into it or right clicking them. Select the relevant info and copy it your folder. The 8 character Accession Number under the copyright notice on the Description screen will correspond to the file name.
